27 Dec – Moviegoers in Ampang will have a new place to patron for movies since One Cinemas will be open for business on 19 January 2013 with six screens, which includes a 3D hall and digital halls. In conjunction with their opening, One Cinemas is also offering free screenings to moviegoers from 19 – 23 January 2013, with up to eight titles available. The titles are "Wreck-It Ralph", "Life Of Pi", "Skyfall", "Pontianak VS Orang Minyak", "Lagenda Budak Setan 2", "PE3", "Aku Terima Nikahnya" and "The Expendables 2". In order to be eligible for the free screenings, moviegoers just have to present the One Cinemas' flyers. If the films mentioned are not to your taste, One Cinemas opens for business with new titles as well, which are "The Last Stand" and "Mama". 15 years back, Smile Cinemas operated in Spectrum Shopping Mall, Ampang with only two screens, whereas One Cinemas will begin operations with six. One Cinemas adds to the list of latest cinematic outlet for moviegoers in Ampang alongside MBO Galaxy Ampang.
