"Jahit" is FFM26's best short film

30 Oct – The Petronas advertisement for Hari Raya, "Jahit", produced by Reservoir Production Sdn Bhd was awarded the Best Short Film at the 26th Malaysian Film Festival 2014 (FFM26) officiating ceremony held last night.

The director of the web film "Jahit", Quek Shio Chuan said that he did not expect that he would win this award and he is satisfied that the short film was accepted by the jury as well as the public, "It shows that our hard work had been paid off."

Subang during the officiating ceremony of FFM26.

Quek also revealed that he has two more upcoming projects where he will dedicate two web films for Deepavali and Chinese New Year.

Not only that, the director had also disclosed that he is planning on a feature film next.

"I am planning on making a feature film, actually I am already working on it! Hopefully I will get to finish it by the end of next year."

Quek is also known for his web film, "Guang", which won Best Film and numerous awards at the BMW shorties.
