"Think Big Big" is set to screen at the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018 this March.

20 Feb – Malaysia's very own "Think Big Big" is scheduled to screen at the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2018, to be held from 9 to 18 March.

The Chiu Keng Guan-directed movie is the only Malaysian movie to represent the nation at the festival under the New Action! Southeast Asia category, which highlights breakthrough movies in Southeast Asian cinema and features a wide variety of genres ranging from action to art.

The Malaysian movie will share its category with six other Asian movies: "The Forest Whispers" and "Poppy Goes to Hollywood Redux" from Cambodia, "The Girl From Yesterday" from Vietnam, "Love You To The Stars And Back" from Philippines, "Pai Kau" from Indonesia and a Japan-Myanmar co-production called "My Country My Home".

"Think Big Big" follows a confident plus-sized girl named Moon who joins a weight loss competition to repay the damages she made when she accidentally ruined a film crew's equipment. After joining the competition, Moon becomes a popular social media celebrity but she loses her closest friends in the process.

The movie, starring Miss Astro alums Serene Lim and Vivienne Oon, singer Ruby Yap, Moon Yoong, Joanne Lau, Keigrey Kam and Fabian Loo, is currently showing in local cinemas.
