Watch this if you liked: “Detective Conan” series

The Good, the Bad and the Tiny Detective:

• With Japanese card game Karuta as the backdrop of the story, the movie is like a crossover between "Detective Conan" and "Chihayafuru".

• This year's instalment focuses on the beta couple Heiji and Kazuha for the second time, fourteen years since "Detective Conan: Crossroad in the Ancient Capital" in 2003.

• Compared to its previous instalment from 2016, this movie is much less action-driven and actually featured a decent case for once in recent years.

• The romance sub-plot predictably did not bring any closure, but it still provided plenty of nice moments between Heiji and Kazuha.

• Unlike "Chihayafuru", the movie doesn't provide enough explanation on the Karuta, so for those who have no knowledge of it, will find it hard to understand the game.
