Watch this if you liked: “All's Well, Ends Well" and "Chase Our Love"

"Summer Love Love" directed by Wilson Chin is a light and clever film, but at the same time it leaves its audience with no memory of it. It's a film that provides you with the occasional laughter, and also some sympathy for the characters in it leaving you rooting for them in the chase for love.

What's amazing about this movie is how simple it is. It's a happy film that leaves you smiling throughout the playback. Despite the constant suffering of the characters in the search for love, you just know that good things will eventually happen for them (a typical romance plot). The difference between this comedy/romance film compared to others is that this film consist of three very desperate guys that are willing to do almost anything for love, which makes watching the chase that much more enjoyable.

This really seems like a fun film to act in, with the three desperate guys being played by Alex Fong, Siu Fay and Owodog. They had the tough task of developing desperate-for-love characters that were both unattractive and undesirable by females everywhere but did quite a good job at it. On the other hand, Elanne Kong, Carol Yeung and Viann Zhang were the chase of these guys and were complete opposites of them, that being very attractive and very desirable by males everywhere.

The plot is obvious, but strong enough to keep the audience entertained. However, it is very forgettable and definitely will not be the talk of the evening. Summing it up, it's a fun way to spend your dull afternoon, but not if you're in the mood for something with a deeper and richer plot.
