28 Sep – Running up to Singapore's 1 October 2009 release of "Invitation Only", a Taiwanese slasher starring top pornstar Maria Ozawa, one of last week's entertainment highlights was that the hot AV property is being headhunted by Indonesia's Maxima Pictures to star in a movie about herself - "Menculik Miyabi". Following the footsteps of her Japanese industry peers Sora Aoi ("Hormones"), retirees Nao Oikawa and the retired Ai Iijima who have all successfully crossed over to more mainstream works, the prolific 23-year-old Japanese-French-Canadian beauty will play herself in a movie about a man who is so obsessed over the pornstar he plans to kidnap her. However it is also noted that the film will not feature Ozawa in the capacity she is best known for; and that it will be a comedy with intermittent scenes of her actually in it.
A spokesperson for production house Maxima Pictures was quoted as saying that it's very difficult to get the sex siren to Indonesia for the movie and that the deal is not final. In the upcoming "Invitation Only", she plays a supermodel who joins a party for the world's idle rich and finds the occasion turning murderously disastrous. "Invitation Only" will play in Singapore on 1Oct 2009
