Maria Mariana II

This Yusof Haslam film was a sequel to the 1996 hit film of the same name. Starring Erra Fazira, Ziana Zain, Awie, Ning Baizura, Rosyam Nor and more, this film was much anticipated in 1998, as back then, only a handful of good local films were released in the cinemas and this was one of them.

Life is Beautiful

This Italian comedy film set during the Nazi regime won the Grand Prix at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival, and three Academy Awards, including Best Actor for the lead star Roberto Benigni. It's about a Jewish Italian bookshop owner who uses his imagination to shield his son from the horrors of being in a Nazi concentration camp.

Who Am I?

This Hong Kong action comedy by Benny Chan starred Jackie Chan as a CIA operative who wakes up in a tribal village in South Africa and forgets his identity. He ends up identifying himself as "Who Am I?" and gets into loads of mischief whilst trying to recover his memory.
