(L-R) Ivana Wong, Sandra Ng and director Matt Chow.

Come 6 February 2014 will sees the return of Sandra Ng as the popular Kam character in a brand new "Golden Chicken" movie, which is creatively titled as "Golden Chickensss". In conjunction for this upcoming release, we caught up with Sandra Ng, Ivana Wong and director Matt Chow to talk about their experiences on making the third movie when they came to town!

Cinema Online's interview with Sandra Ng, Ivana Wong and Matt Chow conducted on 24 January at One World Hotel, Damansara Utama.

Q: Sandra, in the movie, you are play a character with large breasts. Did you feel any burden wearing the two large prosthetic breasts for your role?
Sandra: Well, you can say it's burdensome. It took the makeup artist 3 hours to attach the prosthetic breasts onto me. And I have to do this by sitting straight on the chair. That long process really tested my patience. I almost snapped during that time. Actually I did ask the makeup artist whether I can lie down while doing this but I'm told it was not possible, because the prosthetic breasts might end up hanging in strange proportions [laughs].

When we watched the movie, we really enjoyed (Ivana) Wong Jyun-Zhi's funny performance. What are your comments on her role?
Sandra: As a singer, Ivana is very good with what she does. I can see she really tries very hard to deliver a good performance in this movie.

Matt: I really think Ivana has a natural comedy talent. In fact, she's really funny during the shooting. Never before I saw an actress like her that whenever she had completed a scene, she will humbly said to her fellow actor like (Ronald) Cheng Chung-Kei, "Thank you very much". She will then goes on and shake hands with him as if the surgery is successfully performed (laughs).

Speaking of your role, were you somehow worried about being uncomfortable acting out your character?
Ivana: Well, when I first received the role, I didn't worry too much anyway. I will just see how it goes, even though I admit I did feel scared during the course of the shooting.

Tell us more about your acting experience in this movie, Ivana.
Ivana: Like singing, acting also requires a lot of energy and sacrifice to deliver a certain artistic achievement. When I acted in this movie, I realise acting can be so complicated but at the end of the day, I did learn a lot from many veteran actors like (Sandra) Ng Kwun-Yu.

Sandra, you also appeared in another Chinese New Year comedy called "Hello Babies" this year. Do you think "Golden Chickensss" will do better at the box office?
Sandra: Well, to me as an actress, I really hope the audiences will feel entertained watching this movie. In fact, it's good to have different variety for the audiences to watch during Chinese New Year.

"Golden Chickensss" opens in cinemas nationwide on 6 February.
