3 Dec – Satisfactory performance and warm reception from moviegoers prompt Hindi dubbed version of Ang Lee's "Life Of Pi" to be screened at Lotus Five Star's Coliseum cinema in KL on 4 December 2012 onwards. Starting from tomorrow, the fantasy adventure film which is the last movie of the year out of Twentieth Century Fox Malaysia's 2012 movie lineup would be made available in the Hindi dubbed version which is similar as the one currently screened in India. The Hindi version will be screened without subtitles. Starring newcomer Suraj Sharma with Irrfan Khan, Tabu and Rafe Spall, the Hindi version of the fantasy adventure film features the dubbed voices of Bollywood child star Raju Shrestha as Suraj Sharma, while Irrfan Khan dubs his own character in the film. Since its release in Malaysia and Singapore last weekend on 29 November, the movie has gone on to gross approximately USD108 million worldwide. The widely screened English version "Life Of Pi" is available in 35mm, 2D, IMAX (TGV) and IMAX 3D (TGV) formats, while the Hindi version is only available at LFS Coliseum KL in 2D format. Apart from LFS Coliseum, no other locations are slated to screen the Hindi version at current time of publication. Stay tuned, for further updates!
