3 Aug – In conjunction with GSC's 25th anniversary this year, GSC will be organizing a charity marathon known as "PJ Half Marathon", and early birds who sign up for the event will be entitled to tickets for movie screenings at GSC Maxx, the largest digital hall in Malaysia located on the 10th floor, Berjaya Times Square KL. For those who fall short, there will also be fun-filled activities during the event on 30 September, such as character appearances, movie-related games, free candy floss and face painting sessions. "PJ Half Marathon" is part of GSC's corporate social responsibility project that is held in collaboration with Malaysia's leading newspaper company, The Star. The event is themed "Run Because You Can", and it is geared towards collecting donations for Bethany Home, Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled and Persatuan Mobility. For every participant that signs up, RM5 will be donated to those beneficiaries in order to provide support for those in need.
