4 Feb – At exactly 10.27am on 2 February 2013, actress Liyana Binti Datuk Jasmay, more commonly known as Liyana Jasmay, is now officially the wife of Fathuddin Mazlan after exchanging vows in their wedding ceremony held at Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The couple were married by Liyana's father himself, Datuk Jasmay Md Shah, witnessed by the Registrar of Marriages and Muslim Consult Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Sahirman Ahmad.

Liyana, who first made a name for herself through the film "Anak Halal", received five trays of dowry and responded with seven trays. Accepted by the actress's side is the betel-leaf box, a handbag and a jewellery set. She also received a stylish gold bracelet worth RM 5,500 and dowry cash worth RM 28,388.

When interviewed, Liyana was visibly happy and grateful to be called the wife of Fathuddin, whom she had known for about two months.

"Thank God, after what we have planned, all is finally done well on this historic day. We've legally become husband and wife."

Liyana wore a white Jovian Mandagie designed haute couture gown while Fathuddin looked smart in his matching-hued Malay attire.

The wedding ceremony was attended by about 250 invited guests from both sides of the family and members of the media.

The wedding reception was held on the night of the same day in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).
