28 Apr – There are many things fans could look forward to in "Disenchanted", the upcoming sequel to the hit 2007 film, "Enchanted" - from the return of the four original stars, the addition of comedienne Maya Rudolph and "Glee" alumna Jayma Mays, and the news that Snow White's Seven Dwarves will be joining in on the fun as well. But we are more excited to hear that Patrick Dempsey, a.k.a Grey's Anatomy's Doctor McDreamy, will be singing for the first time!
Dempsey also stated that he is excited about reuniting with his co-stars Amy Adams, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden in the new movie, saying, "To work with everybody again after 14 years is just really exciting. We need some escapism right now. We need those romantic comedies and those musicals to get people out of the doldrums that we're in." On the other hand, the actor revealed the reason why the movie took 14 years to finally agree on a sequel, saying that no one could agree on the script for the longest time as they wanted to give honour to all the Disney movies that came before while also stay true to its satirical nature. Production reportedly will begin in Spring 2021.
