14 Dec - "Mechamato Movie" has broken its record yet again by making RM10 million in just the first six days of its release.
On the other hand, Astro Shaw's chief Raja Jastina Raja Arshad stated that they have received a lot of positive responses regarding the movie. "The competition is stiff seeing that there are international movies showing as well. But we believe that the quality of our movie, the storyline and the cultural and heritage elements of the movie will enable Mechamato to continue to compete," she said. The movie will continue showing throughout the school holidays. At the same time, Mechamato himself will be showing up at selected locations throughout the promotional period.
