15 Apr - Despite having been a part of several giant franchises, Pedro Pascal admitted that it did not at all ease his nervousness when it comes to playing Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic in the upcoming Marvel movie, "Fantastic Four: First Steps".

The actor, who spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the film, confessed that it was intimidating.

"I relied on the people that I was around to hold me to the experience and help get me through it. Stepping into something like 'Game of Thrones' and then going into the early days of Netflix with 'Narcos' and then 'Star Wars' and the world of video games with 'The Last of Us', each time I've felt like I couldn't top how intimidating the last one was," he said.

Pascal continued saying that all of the franchises are scary because he wants to make sure that people who have expectations about the character are happy with his casting and performance.

"You also want to be authentic to yourself so that it can be the best that it can be for anybody who wants to be entertained by a story and travel with us into this world," he added.

The upcoming film, which also stars Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, is set to be released on 25 July.
