18 Apr – Are your Spidey senses tingling? Well that may be so, as the two major cinemas nationwide, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) and TGV Cinemas have already commenced their advance movie ticket sales for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"! With the cinemas' online booking systems and participating box office counters ready for the anticipated movie sequel, moviegoers are spoilt for choice in deciding if they would like to catch the web-slinging hero at GSC Cinemas for the Dolby Atmos sound system (only at GSC 1 Utama) or in IMAX at TGV Cinemas (Sunway Pyramid, 1 Utama, Tebrau City and Gurney Paragon). "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is also available in the usual 2D and 3D formats.
GSC Cinemas will also be bringing in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Colour Changeable Umbrella, a unique limited-edition merchandise from the movie. The red 24-inch umbrella has a white web design that will turn blue when exposed to rain or water. The umbrella can be purchased at RM5 with every purchase of a GSC Combo 3 (RM10.50) at GSC Cinemas nationwide or with a Large Signature Combo (RM12.50) at GSC Signature at The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley while stocks last. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will be released in all cinemas nationwide on 1 May 2014.
