7 Sep – Cinema Online fans gathered last night at GSC Paradigm Mall to watch the critically acclaimed biographical film, "Sully", two days before its official release in Malaysia.
By just joining the contest on Cinema Online, the lucky fans won themselves tickets for the preview screening of the Hollywood film starring none other than Tom Hanks.
One of the winners, Farhana Amira said that she couldn't wait to watch the movie any longer as it is based on a real-life story.
"I am excited to watch the film as it really took place years ago. I would like to uncover what really happened and took place after that incident," she said.
Muhammad Amierul Mohd Nasir also said he was eagerly anticipating the film as it was based on a popular true story of which he still recalls.
Starring Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart among others, a lot of the winners predicted that "Sully" would be a film worth watching at the cinema.
"I feel like this would be a great film as it has Tom Hanks in it. And Tom Hanks is really a very good actor," added Amierul.
"Sully" is about a miraculous incident that took place in 2009 which has since been called "The Miracle on the Hudson" where Kapten Sullenberger had made an emergency landing on the Hudson river, saving 155 passengers including himself and his crew members.
"Sully" comes to cinemas this 8 September 2016.
