30 Mar – Well-known local director Ahmad Idham is ready to thrill fans with his latest silver screen effort "Jangan Pandang-Pandang" which will be playing in over 82 cinemas in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.

"Jangan Pandang-Pandang" is also the sixth film distributed by Excellent Pictures and it stars "KL Gangster" star Zizan Razak, Sara Ali, Nas-T, Miera Leyana, Anith Aqilah and Azhar Sulaiman. The movie sees four university students, Ajis, Ben, Yaya and Diana, who got themselves into trouble during their adventurous trip to an abandoned cave, the mysterious Gua Bewah, in order to gain artifacts for their final year assignment.

"In the film, I made Zizan's character (Ajis) as the focus of the story. I want to show that he is a born leader and how he leads the team out of trouble under the supernatural occurrence. I also emphasize the friendship value of the four friends," said Idham who shot the film at Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu.

Due to the heavy public criticisms on Idham's misuse of the theories of Al-Quran in his previous horror movies, the Kedah-born director has announced that "Jangan Pandang-Pandang" will be his last horror piece of his directing career.

"I've had traumas from all the negative feedback involving the religious aspects in "Hantu Bonceng", therefore, I've decided to make "Jangan Pandang-Pandang" the last one," the 41-year-old added.

Besides, it has been revealed that the comedy will be aired on local television channels, TV3 and Astro First this year.

"Jangan Pandang-Pandang" is now showing in cinemas!
