"Into Darkness" in motion

There are people who go about their lives blissfully unaware of the meaning of 16 May 2013 and there are people who are relentlessly trying to book advance tickets for "Star Trek Into Darkness" while re-watching episodes of the "Star Trek" television series to speculate about the possible outcome of J. J. Abrams's upcoming sequel as well as the 2009 film. Well, if you fit into the latter category, then good news for you: a new cinemosaic poster has been released for "Star Trek Into Darkness", which is nothing new if you are a regular Tumblr user since it resembles the social media site's photoset feature.


The poster dissects the latest Benedict Cumberbatch poster into nine, and turns each separate section in animated gifs that relate to the section of the poster. For example, the top three rows show Nyota Uhura (Zoe Saldana), James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and Spock (Zachary Quinto), which then turn into their scenes in the trailer.
