"The Wolverine" posters

Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as titular Wolverine in James Mangold's upcoming "The Wolverine". The film takes place sometime after "X-Men: The Last Stand", where fans will see Logan travelling to Japan. There, Logan engages a figure from his past who offers him the cure to his immortality. Vulnerable for the first time, and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he has to confront not only lethal samurai steel, but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.

With the film due for release in cinemas soon, 20th Century Fox is eager to wipe out the fans' memories of the 2009 "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" by promoting the film in full force. Numerous posters have been released for the film, but we have put together our favourites below.

Tao Okamoto is Mariko Yashida, Logan's love interest and the daughter of Shingen, a Yakuza crime boss.
