"Moana" brings Polynesian culture and music to Singapore!

Earlier last week, the voice of Disney's newest princess "Moana" as well as the filmmakers came over to Singapore to screen their movie and hold a press conference to promote Disney's latest animation movie in Southeast Asia, and also to bring fans to see the magical collaboration between Disney and Singapore's annual Christmas Light Up event at Marina Bay Sands. Main voice-cast of "Moana" Auli'i Cravalho, producer Osnat Shurer, Singaporean lighting artist Roger Lee, and Indonesian visual development artist Griselda Sastrawinata were among the stars down in Singapore for the event. The movie also features the voices of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Temuera Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger and Rachel House. "Moana" is set to hit cinemas in Singapore on 24 November and in Malaysia on 1 December 2016. Check out some of the photos we captured while we were in the Lion City for the event!

The press conference ended with Auli'i and the filmmakers waving goodbye to the cameras.

Candles and lanterns were placed around Marina Bay Sands for the Christmas Light Up
event, and hey! This seems like a scene from Disney's "Tangled"!
