Korean film enthusiasts, this is the time for you! Experience the best of Korean cinema at the upcoming Korean Film Festival (KFF) 2017 with 5 free movie screenings to pick from. Held for only three days from 26 to 28 October, this year's KFF brings movies featuring A-list Hallyu stars such as Gong Yoo, Song Hye-kyo, Hyun Bin and Shin Min-A right to our home country. From seeing Gong Yoo's chiselled abs in "The Suspect" to crying along with the heart-warming story of Song Hye-kyo and Kang Dong-won in "My Brilliant Life", read on to find out what films are being shown this year so that you would not miss out on this time-limited opportunity. "The Fatal Encounter"

What is it about: Based on the real-life assassination attempt on King Jeong-jo, this movie follows the King's struggle as he carefully places his trust on his subordinates and evades those who are after his throne.

Why you should watch it: This marks Hyun Bin's first role in a period drama and his first acting gig after being discharged from the mandatory military service.

"My Love, My Bride"

What is it about: Following their marriage right after graduating college, young couple Young-min and Mi-young learn the hard way about maintaining a marriage and understanding what love really is.

Why you should watch it: This film is the remake of the hit 1990 same-titled movie starring Park Joong-hoon and Choi Jin-sil.
