Cinema Online 20: TV shows that turned 20 this year!

Continuing our 20th anniversary celebration, we bring you a slew of TV shows that were released in 1998! Previously, we listed down a bunch of awesome movies that turned 20 – like us – this year, this time around we take a look at the TV shows that were first aired two decades ago. You'll see some familiar faces because quite a few of these actors have transitioned from the small screen to the big screen over the years.

Dawson's Creek

"Venom" star Michelle Williams and pre-weird-marriage-to-Tom-Cruise Katie Holmes co-starred in
"Dawson's Creek" alongside James Van Der Beek, who played the titular teen, and Joshua Jackson.
The series about the four teens in a small coastal town first aired in 1998 and wrapped up in 2003.

The Magnificent Seven

Do you remember watching a movie of the same name in 2016? Or in 1960, if you're a veteran movie lover.
This show is based on the latter (which was in turn a remake of Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai").
"The Magnificent Seven" aired for two seasons from January 1998 until July 2000.

That '70s Show

Before Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were a married couple and happy parents in real life, they were a couple of pretty,
spoiled teens on the famous sitcom "That '70s Show". Rounding up the cast were Wilmer Valderrama, Laura Prepon,
Topher Grace, Danny Masterson and Josh Meyers. The show ran from August 1998 to May 2006 but, as the title says,
portrayed life in the late '70s.
