7 Jun – Kumpulan Pawagam Iswaria has reopened Federal Cinema on May 31, 2007 after nearly six years. A grand launching was scheduled for July 2 but has now been brought forward to June 15. The classic cinema was a very popular haunt for movie-goers in the 80s but ceased operations in August 2001 and had since been turned into a pub for a few years.
