10 Jul – Amidst media reports that local diva Erra Fazira was caught in the middle of a tug-of-love between Suria FM's head honcho Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin and 'ex-lover' Hans Isaac, Cinema Online received word from Hans Isaac's production company that the film, "Cuci", is still on track.

mSTAR Online (The Star's Malay news portal) and also myMetro (Harian Metro's website) have been reporting the love tangle for a while now, with comments from all three parties. It is alleged, among other things, that Erra has chosen the media mogul over the actor and that the break-up with Hans was about a month ago, after a year of purported romance. myMetro also reported that Hans wishes the two well despite an apparent outright denial from Erra that there ever was a relationship between the songstress and the actor.

However, those less concerned about the private lives of celebrities would be pleased to hear that a call to Tall Order Productions, Hans' production house, has revealed no adverse implications on his upcoming directorial debut, "Cuci".

"The film is now in Bangkok for some final touches to the music score and suchlike. No worries, we'll have a press conference soon to announce the film's launch," said assistant producer Lynette Isaac.

"Cuci" is a local comedy in Malay about four ambitious, self-made entrepreneurs who face great challenges as they try to win the contract for cleaning KLCC's windows and make something for themselves.

"Cuci" is currently in post-production and a release date has yet to be set.
