23 May - The green ogre is back yet again for his third movie, "Shrek 3". The movie premiered today at GSC, Mid Valley Megamall. Celebrating the return of Shrek, M&M's has unveiled its limited edition Ogre-sized M&M's which is 50% bigger than the regular ones in special Shrek colours. It comes in two varieties – 'Fiona's Favourites' (peanut version) and 'Perfect Picks' (milk chocolate version). Keep the M&M's wrappers and use them to accumulate points to bid for limited edition "Shrek 3" collectibles at www.m-ms.com.my. Only 120 pieces of these limited edition items are available in Malaysia from 1 May until 30 June.
Prior to the Malaysian premiere, "Shrek 3" premiered in Singapore on 22 May. The entrance to the cinema hall was decked with a one-of-a-kind 'Shrek-gate'. At the premiere, the Ronald McDonald's Children's Charity was selling Shrek ears to help raise funds for kids with illnesses by drawing temporary Shrek tattoos for the crowd.
