9 Oct – Fresh from the international success of hit movie "Mamma Mia!" (which is still playing), audiences can expect more musicals coming this way as the popular "High School Musical" franchise is out with a third instalment - "High School Musical 3: Senior Year", due for release on 24 October 2008. In conjunction with the opening, there will be a special "High School Musical 3" road show cum talent contest in GSC 1 Utama (New Wing) on Sunday (October 26) and GSC Gurney Plaza the following weekend (November 2).
There will be attractive "High School Musical 3" premiums, movie soundtrack and movie vouchers to be won. Apart from the talent contest, there will also be a special dance and artiste performance for all cinemagoers who are feeling the musical fever. Participation will be on a first-come-first-served basis from 10am onwards at the respective date and locations, limited to 10 teams per location. There will be two categories - Category One for children ages 12 and below and Category Two for ages 13 and above. Each category should consist of five teams and each team will be limited to a maximum number of four participants. Each team will be judged based on choreography, singing talent and showmanship.
