4 Jun – Tupai.com.my recently organised an exclusive preview screening of the novel-turned-feature film "Lagenda Budak Setan" at GSC Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur with several local artists present namely Black of reality TV series "Mentor", actor Arja Lee of upcoming "... Dalam Botol", TV host Farish Aziz and "One In A Million" first runner up Shila Hamzah.
During the event, singer Shila Hamzah revealed that she had read the novel when she was merely five years old. "At that time, I didn't understand the story as I was too young. I re-read the novel when I was 10 so I am pretty excited when I was invited to watch the film today." Currently playing in cinemas, the film is based on the popular 1985 Ahadiat Akashah novel of the same name with director Sharad Sharan ("Tipu Kanan Tipu Kiri") helming the project. Starring Lisa Surihani and Farid Kamil, "Lagenda Budak Setan" shot to the top of Cinema Online's 'Hot Movie Checks' as of opening day yesterday. "Lagenda Budak Setan" is currently playing in cinemas!
