24 Sept – "Reign Of Assassins" directors John Woo and Su Chao Pin and lead actress Michelle Yeoh will be in Singapore to promote the latest martial arts movie on 1 October 2010.
Both directors John Woo and Su Chao Pin, as well as Michelle Yeoh will be attending a press conference, followed by an exclusive dialogue session with the public at 6.30pm at GV Plaza Singapura, where John Woo and Su Chao Pin will discuss about their thoughts on the movie, and also receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent 67th Venice International Film Festival. Michelle Yeoh will join the directors to attend the red carpet event at the "Reign Of Assassins" Singapore Gala Premiere in GV VivoCity at 8.00pm. Audiences will also be one of the firsts to watch "Reign Of Assassins" after the dialogue session, where tickets are already on sale at SGD$16 for public and SGD$12 for GV Movie Club Members.
"Reign Of Assassins" is an epic martial arts action thriller that tells the story of a skilled assassin who is on a mission to return the remains of a mystical Buddhist monk, which are believed to hold a powerful secret, to their resting place. Soon after, a lethal triangle surfaces between her, her lover and the team of assassins who are after the monk's remains. It stars Michelle Yeoh, Wang Xueqi, Barbie Hsu, Shawn Yue, Kelly Lin and Korean actor Jung Woo-Sung.
"Reign Of Assassins" sneaks in Singapore on 7 October 2010 and Malaysia on 14 October 2010.
