Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson and Alexandra Daddario.

1 Feb – During a live web chat with the four young cast of "Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief", Logan Lerman ("3:10 to Yuma"), Brandon T. Jackson ("Tropic Thunder"), Alexandra Daddario ("Bereavement"), and Jake Abel ("The Lovely Bones"), from the Acropolis in Greece, Logan commented that he wanted Percy Jackson to be as popular as the "Harry Potter" movie franchise.

When asked, "If Percy Jackson becomes as big as Harry Potter are you guys prepared for that kind of level?" Logan replied, "Yeah, I mean do we want the movie to be as successful as 'Harry Potter'? Yeah sure. Do we want it to be as loved? Yeah...but they're different movies, you know, this is Greek mythology and that's wizardry so, they're completely different grounds as films. Popularity-wise, yeah we want it to be just as popular." Being a fan of director Christopher Columbus' works such as "Home Alone" and "Harry Potter" films, Logan admits Christopher was the reason why he took on the role as Percy Jackson, son of Greek God Poseidon.
