Will Smith & Jada split?

25 Aug – One day after In Touch magazine claimed that the Hollywood power couple's marriage was in trouble, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith issue a statement and appear together in public, smiling broadly for cameras and fans to scrap the claims, according to a report on ABC News website.

Jada Pinkett Smith & Will Smith is the latest Hollywood couple rumoured to be heading for 'splitsville'.

Their brief stroll down a sidewalk together outside a restaurant in Malibu, was earlier followed by a joint statement released by the Smiths which read; "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating on our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

The statement came shortly after Smith's 18-year-old son from another marriage, Trey, took to Twitter to announce that the couple is still together.

"Will and Jada getting a DIVORCE ..NOT TRUE AT ALL !!, no they did NOT split ! False information", 'tweeted' Trey while urging his followers to 're-tweet' his post. Due to the report In Touch Weekly claiming that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith were separating after 13 years of marriage, rumours also circulated that this was due to Pinkett Smith having an affair with her "HawthoRNe" co-star, Marc Anthony, who recently separated from Jennifer Lopez.

"All the rumours regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue," Pinkett Smith's publicist, Karynne Tencer came forward to inform People magazine today. "As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I'm not commenting on their personal life."

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith married in 1997. They have two children together, Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10, who are both in showbiz. Pinkett Smith is also a stepmother to Trey Smith, 18, Smith's son from a previous marriage.
