5 Oct – Once again, the European Union Film Festival (EUFF) will be held in cinemas in Malaysia in what marks its 13th time around, and the event will showcase up to 29 foreign films from 20 different countries in Europe. Local cinemagoers and lovers of European culture will be able to catch films like the 2010 Academy Award-winning drama thriller film "In A Better World" from Denmark, the 2011 drama film "The Italian Key" from Finland, the 2010 drama film "Stationspiraten" from Switzerland and documentaries about the Islamic thinker Muhammad Asad, inventor Marie Curie and F1 racing driver Ayrton Senna.
Fans can purchase their tickets at GSC cinema outlets at 1 Utama, Pavilion KL and Mid Valley in Kuala Lumpur (8-18 November), Gurney Plaza in Penang (22-28 November), and for the first time, cinemagoers in Eastern Peninsular are offered the opportunity as well, at Suria Sabah in Kota Kinabalu (6-13 December).
