10 Feb – "500 Days of Summer" star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is no stranger to directing, having already directed a short film titled "Sparks", an adaptation of a short story by Elmore Leonard and "Morgan and Destiny's Eleventeenth Date: The Zeppelin Zoo", and according to Comingsoon, he is now ready to take on feature-length films using a script that he wrote himself, with "The Avengers" star Scarlett Johansson to star in the untitled project. It is said that this project's objective was to revive the tale of Don Juan, a womanizer and seducer, with a modern-age twist, and rumours are already abound that Gordon-Levitt will star in the film too, as the lead. There is also one other rumour is that there will be another major female lead which is yet to be casted although production is set to begin this April. Currently, both Gordon-Levitt and Johansson have their hands full with their respective roles in summer's comic book adaptations films. Gordon-Levitt will be playing John Blake in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" while Johansson will reprise her role of Black Widow in Marvel's highly-anticipated "The Avengers". It seems that there is no rest for the 32-year-old actor as he would also appear in three other films this year, which are "Looper", "Premium Rush", and "Lincoln". In addition, Gordon-Levitt has been casted in a supporting role in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming "Django Unchained".
