30 Dec – Chad Michael Murray, who is best known as Lucas Scott from The CW's television drama series "One Tree Hill" and Nick Jones in "House Of Wax", is currently in talks to star in the re-adaptation of "Left Behind", where the premise is set in yet again another post-apocalyptic world. If negotiations pull through, he will be starring alongside Nicolas Cage as journalist Cameron 'Buck' Williams who is left on earth after the Rapture occurs and all believers are whisked to heaven.
Among those left behind will be jet pilot Rayford Steele, played by Cage. Together, the two work together to lead a group of 'leftovers' in the desolate world. The movie is based on the first book of a series of 16 best-selling novels written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. "Left Behind" was first adapted as a series of low budget TV movies in 2001 starring Kirk Douglas. Chad Michael Murray will next be seen in horror movie "The Haunting In Georgia" while Cage will appear in "The Frozen Ground" and lend his voice to animated feature film "The Croods".
