30 Apr – "Django Unchained" star Jamie Foxx is currently in talks to star opposite Quvenzhane Wallis in the rebooting of movie musical, "Annie", which will be produced by Will Smith and Jay-Z. If negotiations go according to plan, Foxx will play the role of a man named Benjamin Stacks, a variation of the Daddy Warbucks personage, who takes in Annie (Wallis). Will Gluck is slated to direct and is currently reviewing the script penned by Emma Thompson and Aline Brosh McKenna. The film is targeted to have a late fall production and anticipated to be released in 2014.
Jamie Foxx is currently in shooting as villain, Electro, in the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", which will show in theatres on 1 May 2014.
