Kelsey Grammer "Transformers" villian

Kelsey Grammer who played The Beast in the first "X-Men" trilogy will now play villain in the new "Transformers" movie.

4 May – Michael Bay has just cast Kelsey Grammer to play the human villain in the fourth instalment of "Transformers", an unusual choice for the actor, whom apart from "X-Men", doesn't usually work on blockbuster movies.

Grammer will be playing a role called Harold Attinger, a counter intelligence operative who may be involved with the plan to use Cybertronian technology as weapons research for mankind, and will somehow be involved with the more dangerous Decepticons.

Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Jack Raynor and Nicola Peltz have been previously reported to play the central characters, as well as four more Chinese actors with the first two confirmed to be Li Bingbing and Wu Xiu.

"Transformers 4″ is slated to begin production in July and will be released tentatively in June 2014.
