24 Sept – Tamil Malaysian filmmakers M Suurya and M Subash's very own feature film "Dhusrajanam" will be competing at the 11th World Film Festival of Bangkok which will take place from 15 to 17 November this year.

A screen cap of an email for M Suurya found on their Facebook page showed a response from the 11th World Film Festival of Bangkok saying that they have selected "Dhusrajanam" or "Re-Birth" in the coming edition of the Festival.

Besides the World Film Festival, the film will also be screened at the ChiangkhanFilm Festival, also in Bangkok.

"Dhusrajanam" is about Kuttan and how he dreams of becoming the world's number one badminton player. But his dreams are hindered by his two older sisters and stepbrother, who want him to become a dancer instead.

For those who aren't familiar with films by M Suurya and M Subash, they have already produced many films including "Pensil", "Syirik", "Sumpahan Puaka", "CCTV", "Misteri Bisikan Pontianak" and "You Believe In Ghost?".
