28 Dec - Malaysian born banker-turned-movie-producer Riza Aziz buys a swanky pad in New York. The "Wolf of Wall Street" kickstarter spent RM110 million for a home in the Upper West Side of New York City, even if he does spend most of his time in Los Angeles. The home is reportedly a seven bedroom home in Park Lourel at 15 West 63rd Street. The producer also kept busy with "The Wolf of Wall Street" starring Leonardo Dicaprio and directed by Martin Scorsese, which Aziz invested in with Joey McFarland who acquired the rights to the film. "Aziz, who reportedly makes his money as an investment banker, has been pegged as a producer to watch. He is one of a new generation of film financiers making their mark in Hollywood, according to a recent story in Variety," wrote The Real Deal.
