5 Sep – Ryan Reynolds' ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson has been spotted at the Venice Film Festival with a large diamond ring, given to her by her current boyfriend, French journalist Romain Dauriac, thereby confirming that the two are engaged. It was reported that Dauriac proposed to the 28-year-old actress about a month ago. Johansson and Dauriac have been together for 10 months, but the couple only went public about their relationship in November, mere weeks after Johansson's split with her boyfriend Nate Naylor. "Marvel's The Avengers" star revealed earlier this year that she rarely thinks about marrying again due to her divorce with Ryan Reynolds. The couple divorced in July 2011 after three years of marriage. No wedding date has been set yet for the newly engaged couple.
Meanwhile, Johansson's new film "Under The Skin" has just premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Directed by Jonathan Glazer, the film sees Johansson play an alien in human form who journeys through Scotland, seducing and mutilating men for a rich corporation as delicacies. Johansson will next reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and appear in Jon Favreau's culinary comedy "Chef".
