"American Pie" actor, Jason Biggs was condemned by fellow Netizens for his tasteless tweet regarding the MH17 tragedy.

18 Jul – In regards to the tragic incident of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 that got the world in tatters, "American Pie" actor, Jason Biggs decided to give the subject more of a comic spin on Twitter, angering Netizens who called him out for his insensitivity.

Tweeting; "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?", the 36 year-old actor's post had soon been retweeted and replied thousands of times in a matter of minutes, angering his followers who labelled him as insensitive and heartless for making the joke.

Some of the comments seen by his Twitter followers include; "Was your sense of humor on that flight?", "You'd laugh if your kids died in a plane crash", "Go f**k a pie you piece of s**t." and more.

Biggs tweet was slammed by many of his Twitter followers.
However, instead of apologising, Biggs refuted the comments by posting more inconsiderate posts, "Hey all you 'too soon' a**holes - it's a f***ing joke. You don't have to think it funny, or even be on my twitter page at all" and "Truly- you losers are literally trying to find shit to get angry about. Channel your issues elsewhere".

His replies were also quick to be bashed as well. As the matter started to escalate, Biggs later explained himself to the Netizens, "The idea that I wouldn't have any empathy 4 the victims or their families because I make a joke is absolutely ridiculous. U know that, right?"
