"Captain America" VS "Batman VS Superman"

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is releasing on 27 March 2014!

17 Mar – With "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" due for release in cinemas soon, Marvel confirmed that there will be a third film and it is slated for release on 6 May 2016, the same day as working title "Batman VS Superman".

According to Collider, Marvel's first untitled 2016 release was revealed to be the still untitled "Captain America 3" on 6 May 2016, but many are saying that it is highly unlikely that two superhero tent pole films will open in the same week.

As it stands, the race between Marvel and DC is fast heating up, with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige stating that Marvel has no plans to budge, while director Zack Snyder would begin production on the "Man Of Steel" sequel in the next couple of months.

In other related news, reception for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has been positive, and directors Joe and Anthony Russo have already been enlisted to helm the third film.

Fans may get to see more of Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier after "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

Meanwhile, actor Sebastian Stan, who plays the Winter Soldier, revealed that his contract with Marvel Studios runs for nine pictures. The actor's contract is similar to Samuel L. Jackson's deal with Marvel, but more Chris Evans', who confirmed recently that his deal with Marvel lasts just six movies.

Previously, we reported that Evans is looking to go on an acting hiatus after completing his six-picture deal, but that may be longer than fans think, as the actor clarified that his cameo in "Thor 2" is not included.

So far, Evans' confirmed Marvel film appearances are "Captain America: The First Avenger", "The Avengers", "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron", "Captain America 3" and a yet-to-be-named film.
