5 Nov – It was reported last month that Daniel Radcliffe is in talks to join the sequel to 2013's "Now You See Me" and now it is confirmed that the boy wizard is indeed getting on board the magician heist movie.
Also joining him will be Taiwanese singer-actor Jay Chou and "Mean Girls" actress Lizzy Caplan, Lionsgate announced.
Chou made his Hollywood debut through the 2011 movie "The Green Hornet" and can be seen next in the upcoming "The Interview", which he also performed several songs for. Caplan will be appearing in the movie as well, playing the part of Lula.
The sequel's plot has been revealed to be taking place one year after the events in the first movie. After outwitting the FBI, this time around the Four Horsemen find themselves facing a new enemy "who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet", the official synopsis states.
"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" director Jon M. Chu will be helming the project, which will see the return of cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Morgan Freeman, Dave Franco and Woody Harrelson.
"Now You See Me 2" is set for release on 10 June 2016 in North America. In the meantime, fans of Radcliffe can catch the young actor in his upcoming movie "Horns", releasing in cinemas on 13 November 2014.
