14 Apr - The annual MTV Movie Awards just ended a few hours ago with "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" emerging as the biggest winner of the night, winning a total of three awards, including Movie of the Year, Best Male Performance (Josh Hutcherson) and Best Female Performance (Jennifer Lawrence). "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", as voted by teenagers online at the MTV Movie Awards website had beat out other films for Movie of the Year including Oscar winner for Best Picture "12 Years a Slave", "American Hustle", "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" and "The Wolf of Wall Street". But the regular categories for teen's choice in films aren't exactly the most interesting part of the program. Hosted by talk-show host Conan O'Brien, the award show had also included strange categories like Best Shirtless Performance, which Zac Efron won this year for "That Awkward Moment".
Other interesting categories include Best Kiss, which Emma Roberts, Will Poulter and Jennifer Aniston share the award for, and Best Fight, won by Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lily and the Orcs in "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug". The Golden Popcorn statue's top honors of the night were also given to Channing Tatum for the Trailblazer Award, and Mark Wahlberg for the MTV Generation Award.
