Deanna Yusoff's dance in new horror movie

15 Aug – Fans of Malaysian actress Deanna Yusoff who have missed seeing her on the silver screen will get to see her in the upcoming movie, "Aku Haus Darahmu".

The 48-year-old revealed to Cinema Online during the press conference for Singaporean movie "1965" recently that the upcoming local movie is expected to be released early next year.

Apart from her, the cast also includes Malaysian actresses Nad Zainal and SWEET (Farhanna Qismina), among others.

Though it falls under the horror genre, the movie also involves dance. The actress shared, "We only had one month to train. Suhaili Micheline, the choreographer, she took influences from the Indian classical dance and Malay Mak Yong."

"Because it's horror, our dance has a very animalistic sort of movement," she said, adding that she will have a solo dance performance in the movie.

In the meantime, Deanna Yusoff plays Khatijah in the SG50 movie, "1965", currently playing in Singaporean cinemas and scheduled for release in Malaysia this 20 August.
