27 Oct – Tamil movie star Rajinikanth has arrived in Malaysia to film his latest movie, "Kabali". The actor arrived yesterday evening at 5.45pm amidst warm welcome from his fans. Users of Twitter and Instagram have been circulating the actor's arrival photos online with the hashtag #kabaliinmalaysia. Other hashtags such as #rajinikanthinmalaysia and #kabali were also used across various social media platforms. The 64-year-old is expected to spend a month in the country to film the Pa Ranjith-directed movie. It was previously reported that the filming duration was cut short and had to be postponed due to several circumstances.
After Malaysia, the actor will head to Hong Kong and Thailand, according to The Rakyat Post, to film the rest of the movie. Rajinikanth is set to play a don in the movie, a role inspire by a real life gangster. "Kabali", which is the actor's 159th movie, will also reportedly star Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan and Dhansika.
