Who's ready to catch some Fantastic Beasts?
17 Nov – "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" swoops into cinemas today, but Cinema Online readers, as well as "Harry Potter" fans managed catch the movie yesterday during its preview at GSC Mid Valley.
Like the title of the movie, the attendance yesterday was fantastic too as the halls were completely filled with avid movie-goers who couldn't wait to catch the "Harry Potter" spin-off starring Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne.

"I've watched all of Harry Potter series and I really love the work of J.K. Rowling," said one of the winners, Amelia Alysha Augustine.
Amelia hopes that the movie will be as good as "Harry Potter"
And as expected many who came to watch the screening are mostly huge fans of the "Harry Potter" series, so in other words, there were tons of Potterheads!
"I miss Harry Potter so much and I can't wait to experience the wizarding world once more!" exclaimed Shamimi Binti Azahan.

Logeswaran is a diehard fan of "Harry Potter" and he hopes that the series' last book,
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will be adapted into films as well.
Yew Sook Fei has also collected her passes!
"One of the reasons why I want to watch the movie is because I just want to follow up on the Harry Potter series which I've been watching since I was a child," said Afiq.
When asked if "Fantastic Beasts" can manage to surpass the "Harry Potter" series, Afiq believes that there's a strong chance that it is able to.
"Personally, I think that "Fantastic Beasts" can surpass "Harry Potter" because of all the hype that has been going on. Even the last "Harry Potter" movie was a big hit, so I'm sure that by now there are already more fans, and I think a lot of fans would be excited for this movie, like me," he added.

Nevertheless, another fan, Mohamed Hisbullah doesn't think that the movie can match the "Harry Potter" franchise, but it will definitely be better in the visuals department.
"I don't think "Fantastic Beasts" can surpass "Harry Potter" in terms of its story, but maybe it will surpass in terms of the CGI effects," he said when asked about his expectations of the movie.
Hisbullah has watched all the "Harry Potter" movies and has also read the "Fantastic Beasts"
Amir, arrives with his partner to watch the movie.
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is set 70 years before Harry Potter is enrolled into Hogwarts. It follows Magizoologist Newt Scamander on an adventure as he discovers New York`s secret community of witches and wizards and an evil wizard that is terrorising the city.
The movie also stars Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jon Voight, and Ron Perlman.
