1 Nov – Almost every Disney animated classic have been getting in line for a live-action remake, and so it's only natural that the story of "Snow White", the first ever Disney animated film, would be up next for its very own live-action musical movie! Not to be confused with the other "Snow White" project also by Disney called "Rose Red" - told in the point of view of Snow White's estranged sister, Rose Red, who originally appears in Grimms' Fairy Tales - the remake is said to be an expansion of Disney's 1937 animated film and will feature brand new songs penned by songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul of this year's "La La Land". According to Variety, as of yet no actors have been cast and the film is still on the lookout for a director.
