30 May– "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" has been prescribed a new release date, following lead actor Dylan O'Brien's accident on the movie's set. The third movie in the "Maze Runner" movie franchise is now pushed back almost a year from its initial release date of 17 February 2017, according to Deadline. Production was halted indefinitely back on 29 April after O'Brien sustained serious injuries during the filming of a stunt, where the 24-year-old was hit by a moving vehicle. Currently, Fox has only revealed the new release date but no words yet on when filming is expected to resume. In "Maze Runner: The Death Cure", O'Brien reprises his role as Thomas, who embarks on a mission to find a cure to a deadly disease known as the "Flare". Also returning for the threequel are Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Newt, Kaya Scodelario as Teresa, Ki Hong Lee as Minho and more. "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is now rescheduled for release on 12 January 2018.
