11 May – "King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword" comes out in cinemas today. Magic, fantasy and betrayal with a touch of Guy Ritchie's unique brand of humour, it's definitely a movie you do not want to miss. Fortunately, a few moviegoers were lucky enough to win preview passes from Cinema Online to watch Charlie Hunnam (and his abs) at TGV 1 Utama a day before the movie's official release date.
Faiz Abdul Rahim got to watch the preview thanks to his friend who won a pair of tickets through Cinema Online's contest. Faiz himself is interested in fantasy movies featuring Middle Aged kings and wars that look like they were fought in another world. "I expect there to be a lot of action and plot twists to keep me guessing on what's going to happen next," said Faiz.
Though a friend told her of the contest, winner Yin Yuan Kong said she has been interested in the movie since she first saw the trailer. "I'm kinda into renaissance-like stuff," she explained.
Lee Che Wah and his friend are also looking forward to the action sequences to be shown in the movie. "I expect great action," his friend said, while Lee added, "Like in an epic, history movie."
"King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword" stars Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law on opposite sides of a war. Hunnam's Arthur grew up without knowing of his true lineage while his uncle, Vortigern, played by Law, amasses an army as preparation for the day when the powerful sword Excalibur reveals itself for its true king. The movie also stars Astrid Bergés-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen and Eric Bana with a cameo from a certain international soccer star.
