23 Dec – Michelle Yeoh has no qualms working with Tsui Hark again in the future if the filmmaker wants her to, according to Mingpao.
The actress, who appeared at the premiere of the Tsui Hark-produced and Yuen Woo-ping directed "The Thousand Faces of Dunjia", expressed excitement when told that Tsui is interested in casting her in the sequel of the said movie, if such a project could be realised.
"I will take that word seriously," she said.
Asked if she would like to work with Tsui and Yuen Woo-ping again, even for a different project, she responded, "I would be delighted. I have been waiting for them to offer me all the time, especially since Tsui also directed my very first movie."
As to what kind of role would she play, Michelle said that she won't care what character it is as long as she gets to work with the two of them.
The actress was most recently seen in the new "Star Trek" TV series and will be seen next in the Warner Bros. movie, "Crazy Rich Asians" arriving in cinemas this August 2018.
