Alden Ehrenreich signed on to star in two more "Star Wars" movies

Expect to see Alden Ehrenreich in more "Star Wars" movies as young Han Solo.

25 Apr – "Solo: A Star Wars Story" has not even come out yet, but fans can already expect to see its main star in more Han Solo centered movies.

Alden Ehrenreich who plays Han Solo in the upcoming "Star Wars" movie is apparently signed on for two more movies as the fan favourite space pilot.

In an interview with Esquire, Ehrenreich let slip stating that he has signed a three-movie deal with Lucasfilm including this year's "Solo: A Star Wars Story".

"Three. I don't know if that's officially, uh, public. But – yeah," he said somewhat hesitant that he might have made a mistake of revealing this information.

Lucasfilm must be pretty confident with Ehrenreich's performance to get him to sign up for more "Star Wars" movies despite reports of him requiring an acting coach on set due to his inability to act out certain scenes.

The Ron Howard directed movie is rumoured to take place ten years before the events of "Star Wars: A New Hope" which gives Lucasfilm some breathing room if they ever decide to turn "Solo: A Star Wars Story" into a trilogy.

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" will follow young pilot Han Solo, a character made famous by Harrison Ford, as he journeys on a daring adventure in the criminal underworld with his co-pilot Chewbacca.

The movie is set to release this 24 May 2018 in Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia.
